Inspiring Read Across America Day books 

Read Across America Day is on March 2nd 2024. The theme for March’s national reading month is Celebrating Diversity.

We have over 40 different books for children from 0 to 12. Our nursery books are the perfect first book for babies, full of bright drawings and simple read-aloud rhymes. Our age 0 to 3 range includes early years learning books, to help toddlers learn their alphabet and numbers. Our books for age 3 to 6 include imagination-boosting picture books full of curious characters – perfect for elementary school children. And our 6+ children’s books are great for middle-grade readers and young adults, with more challenging words, courageous adventures and non-fiction titles.

A study of children aged 9 to 10 showed that when they were given personalized stories to read, their reading comprehension scores improved by more than 40%. Yes – 40%! The researchers concluded that the personal relevance made the texts more interesting, more relatable, and – most importantly – more enjoyable. And that’s what it’s really all about, isn’t it? Every one of our books for kids can be personalized in different ways, depending on the story. To create your child’s unique book, you’ll usually follow these steps:

• Add their name to the story and it’ll appear on the front cover, woven through the text and magically brought to life in the illustrations.
• Choose their character from a range of avatars for boys, girls and even newborn babies!
• Write your own dedication to show them how much they’re loved, every time they open their book. We’ll print your message for free on the very first page.
• Pick a cover color for an extra-personal touch.
• Preview your entire book before you buy.
