A study by the National Literacy Trust (NLT) showed that personalised books can propel young people up to three years ahead of their reading peers. By seeing themselves in the story, kids are able to pick up new words and concepts quicker and relate more closely to the key themes of the story. We have over 70 books for children of all ages, from 0 to 12. We state the recommended reading age for each book based on the story, characters, vocabulary and illustrations. Our nursery books are the perfect first book for babies, full of bright drawings and simple read-aloud rhymes. Our age 0 to 3 range range includes early years learning books, to help toddlers learn their alphabet and numbers. Our books for age 3 to 6include imagination-boosting picture books full of curious characters – perfect for primary school children. And our 6+ children’s books are great for independent readers, with more challenging words, courageous adventures and non-fiction titles.

Every one of our books for kids can be personalised in different ways, depending on the story. To create your child’s unique book, you’ll usually follow these steps:

• Add their name to the story and it’ll appear on the front cover, woven through the text and magically brought to life in the illustrations.
• Choose their character from a range of avatars for boys, girls and even newborn babies!
• Write your own dedication to show them how much they’re loved, every time they open their book. We’ll print your message for free on the very first page.
• Pick a cover colour for an extra-personal touch.
• Preview your entire book before you buy.
