How do I personalise the book?

To make a book, remember to add everyone to your story, including any child you wish to buy the book for.
To personalise your book, follow these simple steps:

1. Click on the ‘Family members’ tab above to add up to 9 family members to your story. (We’ve added ‘Mommy’ and ‘Daddy’ to get things started, but these can be changed to whatever you wish.)
2. Enter a name and click Add. Repeat this step for every family member you wish to include in your story. Then click Done.
3. Finally, write a special dedication that will appear at the beginning of the book - this can be to a special child, or to the entire family.
   Ta da! That’s it - your book is ready to add to your cart and you can checkout.

Where do I enter the name of the child I want to make the book for?

Click the ‘Family Members’ tab, enter the child’s name, and click ‘Add’ to include the child in your story.
Note that, the story isn’t about just one child, it’s about the whole family! When you enter the family members you wish to include in your story, remember to also add the child as one of the family members.

Is my child the Snowflake?

No. Snowflake is the name of the character searching for a way to be with the people she longs for at Christmas - you and your family.
Snowflake cannot be personalised in the story.

Can I change Snowflake to be a boy?

For this story, Snowflake is not a character that can be personalised - she is a character in the story, surrounded by the child and other family members you wish to include in your story.
For this story, we have chosen to make the character a girl.

How is the book personalised?

The Christmas Snowflake book is personalised in a number of different ways:

• The family members’ names appear in the wind
• The stockings display each family member's name
• The Snowflake on the final page contains all the family members’ names
• Snowflake visits many families of different sizes on her journey, but only feels at home with the number of members in your family.

Can I specify the order in which the names appear in the book?

The order in which you enter the names in the Family Members tab will appear in that exact order on the stockings displaying each family member’s name.
The names in the wind appear in a randomised order.

What's the story about?

The Christmas Snowflake, follows the story of Snowflake as she searches for a way to be with the people she longs for at Christmas - you and your family!
On her epic journey, Snowflake stumbles across different animal families. In each interaction , Snowflake stops to meet them but there is always a reason why she feels like she does not quite belong.

Eventually, little Snowflake finds her perfect place - your family’s home. Everything is right from the toasty fire, to the Christmas tree, to the personalised stockings which show the right number of family members.
